An exposed aggregate finish is created by replacing the standard stone in a concrete mix with any of a variety of decorative stones.  After placing the concrete, the surface is carefully washed with water to expose the underlying stone.  The original “decorative” concrete, exposed aggregate provides a durable, low maintenance, natural finish.
